Sydney Horak

Sydney Horak  of West Columbia, diagnosed at age one with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (type II), is a five year old who never meets a stranger and greets everyone with a smile on her face.  From the time she could talk, she was belting out tunes “on stage” in her living room, and from that moment on her family knew that she would grow up to be an entertainer.  Sydney loves being around friends and family and enjoys all things that little girls do, such as painting, coloring and playing princess, especially since her recent coronation as “Little Miss Wheelchair Texas.”  Sydney is definitely the backbone and joy of her family, and her parents, Amy and Dale, hope to one day give back to her as much as she has given to them.
