Amy Passmore

amypassmoreAmy Passmore is a wife, mother, and successful business owner here in the great city of Houston. Her greatest joy is her daughter, Kirsten Passmore, who has Cerebral Palsy. In 2013, Kirsten was crowned Little Miss Wheelchair Texas. This gave Amy, along with Kirsten, the amazing privilege to serve and get involved in the MWTX program. Thus, the following year, Amy was asked to join the MWTX Board of Directors. She currently coordinates activities and events that are associated with the Little Miss program. Amy’s heartbeat is to advocate and create opportunities for those with special needs. Because of this, she and her husband, Brett, have helped Kirsten to establish CosAbility, an organization that travels to Comic Cons to empower and educate those with disabilities how to cosplay. Amy also has a passion to encourage and assist parents who find themselves lost among the rather uncharted waters of parenting a child with disAbilities. She finds that many parents are just not aware of all that is offered and available to children with special needs. As a mother of a child with Cerebral Palsy, she understands how overwhelming parenting a child with a disAbility can be. She also knows how rewarding it can be, as well.
